Tamara nació en la cuenca de Bio Bio en la ciudad de Concepción, Chile (1993). En su territorio natal es que comienza a caminar por bosques y plantaciones en un contexto donde la naturaleza silvestre y las zonas de sacrificio componen el paisaje. El año 2017 se licenció de artista visual en la universidad Finis Terrae en Santiago y entre los años 2018 y 2021 cursó el magíster en Arteterapia.

​A través de la instalación, la pintura en tinta china y el objeto, explora la naturaleza. Le interesa el agua no solo como tema, sino como agente: usa su fluidez para crear manchas que construyen bosques, y sistemas de goteo que dialogan con elementos orgánicos. Su obra busca descentrar al humano para entender el río, el xilema, a los animales no humanos y el bosque como sujetos vivos y dialogantes.

• Seleccionada para la Galería Gabriela Mistral (2025) con el proyecto Notho-espacio, financiado por el Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio.

• Ganadora del Fondart Nacional (Circulación 2024-2025).

• Residencias Internacionales: L’Aquila Reale (Italia, 2024) y La Casita del Lago (Argentina, 2025).

Tamara was born in the Biobío basin in Concepción, Chile (1993). In her native territory, she began walking through forests and plantations—a context where wild nature and "sacrifice zones" define the landscape. In 2017, she earned her BFA in Visual Arts from Universidad Finis Terrae in Santiago, and between 2018 and 2021, she completed her Master’s degree in Art Therapy.

Through installation, ink painting, and objects, she explores the essence of nature. She is interested in water not only as a subject but as an active agent: using its fluidity to create marks that construct forests, and dripping systems that dialogue with organic elements. Her work seeks to decenter the human perspective, understanding the river, the xylem, non-human animals, and the forest as living, speaking subjects.

• Winner of the National Fondart Grant (Circulation 2024-2025).
